Use the space above the toilet

The wall space above a toilet is one of the most consistently underused areas in a small bathroom. A slim shelving unit or cabinet in that spot can add significant storage without narrowing the walkable floor space.

Rethink under-sink organization

Under-sink cabinets often become a catch-all without dividers. Stackable bins or a small tension-rod shelf can roughly double the usable storage in the same cabinet footprint.

Add shower storage that doesn't rely on drilling

Tension-mounted caddies and adhesive hooks solve shower storage for renters or anyone who doesn't want to drill into tile, and are widely available at a range of price points.
